# InstaBids

> InstaBids (instabids.ai) is a home-project bidding marketplace. Homeowners anywhere in the US can post a project and add photos to create a written scope; contractor matching is live in Broward and Palm Beach counties, Florida, today.

InstaBids is new in your area, so finding contractors can take longer, and a request may get no bids. This is especially likely outside the Broward and Palm Beach pilot counties.

## What it does

Homeowners describe a project through an AI-assisted intake conversation.
They can add photos to help describe the work.
The intake assembles a bid card for contractors.
If a contractor submits a bid, the homeowner can read it and compare it with any others.
Homeowners can select a contractor through the app.

## Product boundaries

AI does not show prices.
Contact details stay hidden until the homeowner picks a contractor and they confirm the connection. The contact-detail filter can miss disguised contact details.
InstaBids is a marketplace, not a construction contractor.
Project intake and bid comparison are app screens, not public reference pages.
Do not treat private homeowner links as public content.

## Public reference pages

Each state, method and cost page, and how-it-works, how-to-check-a-contractor-licence and guides/what-not-to-tell-a-contractor, also has a plain markdown twin at the same path with .md added.
