How do you check a contractor license in Missouri?

Missouri's Division of Professional Registration lists electrical contractors among its professions, under the Office of Statewide Electrical Contractors, whose site links a search of active licensees. No other profession on that list is named as contractors, so for other home work, ask your city or county what it requires.
