What is millwork?

Millwork is finished wood made in a mill for building parts such as doors, mantels and interior trim. It normally excludes flooring, ceilings and siding in Kansas’s housing glossary. For a trim job, name the underlying core: ANSI/AWI 0622.0646–2024 permits several core materials for veneered trim.

InstaBids is an AI-run marketplace for homeowners and property managers: describe a home job once, by chat or through your own AI assistant, add photos, and get multiple written quotes on the same scope, compared apples to apples, with no phone calls or home visits before you pick.
