For additional criteria, the portal requires both an agency and a record type. The regional agency list includes Sparks and Washoe as separate choices, so use the Reno selection for a Reno record.

Reno permit status
After Reno accepts a building-permit application, the city directs status inquiries to ONE Regional Licensing and Permitting. Its building-permits page groups online application status and online payments in the same portal. The public Building search can locate records using the property address, parcel number or record information.
For a record already issued as a permit, Reno ties continued validity to a recorded Pass or Partial inspection status. For an application still being pursued, the separate inactivity rule applies.
Once a Reno building permit application is accepted, check the application status online, pay fees online, and more on the ONE Regional Licensing and Permitting portal.

What work does not need a permit in Reno?
Reno’s vehicle-parking FAQ identifies gravel beds, pavers and concrete flat work as not requiring a permit. That statement appears in an answer about an improved parking area adjacent to a paved driveway and the nearest property line. It also prohibits using a city sidewalk or curb as driveway access.
Vehicles cannot be parked in the front yard area; all vehicles must be parked in the paved driveway area. Vehicles can be parked on an area directly adjacent to the paved driveway and the nearest property line if that same area has been "improved" with a gravel bed, pavers or concrete pad. (A gravel bed, pavers and concrete flat work do not require a permit.) You cannot drive over a city sidewalk/curb as a driveway access.
