Is there a home energy rebate program in Wisconsin?

Wisconsin has received updated federal guidance regarding the Home Energy Rebate Programs. Wisconsin’s programs remain operational while the guidance is under review.

Further updates, including any program changes that will be made to comply with the guidance, will be provided at a later date.

The HOMES program launched on August 1, 2024.

The first phase of the HEAR program, Contractor-installed Rebates launched on December 18, 2024.

Phase Two: HEAR Retail, launched in September 2025

The Public Service Commission of Wisconsin (PSC) decided Focus on Energy will implement the HOMES and HEAR programs. These programs will be funded and managed as separate programs from the current Focus on Energy portfolio.
