What is InstaBids?
You describe the job you need done, and contractors who take part can send you bids. You compare them and choose who to talk to. InstaBids connects you. You agree the work and the price directly with the contractor.
What does it cost me?
Homeowners pay InstaBids nothing.
What jobs can I post right now?
Home jobs in Broward and Palm Beach counties. We are still building our contractor network, so a job may not get bids yet. Your request page shows whether any bids have come in.
How do I post a job?
Tell our assistant, Alex, what you need in your own words, and add a few photos if you can. Alex asks the follow-up questions a contractor would ask and turns your answers into a clear job card.
How long until I get bids?
There's no set time. InstaBids is new in your area, so finding contractors can take longer, and a request may get no bids. Clear photos and measurements help any contractor who takes part price your job.
Who are the contractors?
Independent local businesses who have joined InstaBids. We don't employ or certify them. Ask any contractor for their licence and insurance details before you hire, and check them yourself.
Who sees my contact details and address?
Contact details stay hidden until the homeowner picks a contractor and they confirm the connection. The contact-detail filter can miss disguised contact details.
Are my photos private?
We remove each photo's hidden location data and check it before any contractor sees it. Photos are shown only with your job.
How do I delete my account?
Ask for deletion on the data request page. Sending a request does not itself change or delete anything. Account and project deletion is not currently available through that page.
What if something goes wrong with a contractor?
Tell us through the contact page. We can pause a contractor's account while we look into it. We can't guarantee a contractor's work, so agree the scope, price and schedule in writing with them before work starts.

What does it cost to use InstaBids?
Bidding is free. Nothing is charged without your confirmation.
How do I get jobs?
Contractors join by invitation while we build homeowner demand. Once invited, you set your trades and service area and can bid on matching jobs near you.
Why can't I see the homeowner's phone number? Why was my message edited?
Contact details stay hidden until the homeowner picks a contractor and they confirm the connection. The contact-detail filter can miss disguised contact details.
Can I say I'm "InstaBids verified"?
No. InstaBids connects you with homeowners. It doesn't certify contractors. Please don't describe yourself as verified, vetted or approved by InstaBids. You're welcome to share your own licence and insurance details.
